Digital services immediate-access consent

Faultfolio is supplied online and is intended to become available immediately after a successful subscription payment. This notice records exactly what you are asked to agree to before checkout begins, and is written conservatively: it does not claim that your statutory rights disappear.

Your request for immediate supply

By selecting the immediate-access checkbox at checkout, you expressly request that Faultfolio begins supplying its digital service straight away, before the end of any statutory 14-day cancellation period that may apply to an online purchase, and you consent to that early start.

Your acknowledgement

You acknowledge that, where the law provides for it, asking for supply to begin immediately can reduce or end a statutory cooling-off right to cancel simply for changing your mind, once supply has started. This applies only to the extent applicable UK consumer law permits, and it is not a waiver of any right the law says cannot be waived. If you would prefer not to give this consent, do not complete checkout — we cannot start a paid workspace without it.

What this consent does not affect

It does not affect your remedies if Faultfolio is faulty, not as described, not fit for purpose, or not supplied with reasonable care and skill. Depending on the circumstances consumer law may still entitle you to correction, repeat performance, a price reduction, a refund or another remedy. It also does not affect duplicate, incorrect or unauthorised charges, which we will review under the payment, subscription and refund policy, and it does not restrict your right to cancel future renewals at any time.

Subscription billing remains separate

This consent is only about when access begins. Faultfolio Solo costs £1.00 for the first month for an eligible new account and then £4.99 per month, renewing automatically until you cancel. There is no free trial. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally leaves access in place until the end of the period you have already paid for.

How consent is captured

The immediate-access checkbox, and a separate confirmation of the subscription price and refund policy, must both be selected before Faultfolio creates the checkout session. Neither box is pre-ticked. The version of this notice and the time you accepted it are recorded in the billing metadata for that purchase attempt, so there is a clear record of what was agreed.
